A new regulation has been issued and enforced as of 10 October 2018 for all those looking to import e-commerce into Indonesia. In accordance to 112/PMK.04/2018 signed by the Ministry of Finance, all parcels being imported into Indonesia will be subjected to duties and taxes if the value is above USD 75. This limit is applied to each individual as a daily limit and resets the following day.
Meaning, if you order two parcels with a value of USD 50 each and it arrives on the same day, your parcels will be subjected to duties and taxes! E-commerce sellers, keep in mind! Shoppers, spread those shoppings apart!
